Conte to stay at Chelsea "sign's new deal".
Antonio Conte has signed a new two-year contract with Chelsea.
The deal mirrors the Italian's original contract, which will run until 2019. However, it does contain improved personal terms, bringing Conte into the same pay bracket as the other top Premier League managers.
The 47-year old has had a stressful offseason, with the protracted contract negotiations being compounded by the Diego Costa exit saga.
An obviously delighted Conte said: "I am very happy to have signed a new contract with Chelsea. We worked extremely hard in our first year to achieve something amazing, which I am very proud of. Now we must work even harder to stay at the top
"The Chelsea fans have given me so much support since I arrived here one year ago and it is important we continue to succeed together.
